I think what the original poster was asking for is a game where silly
commands have appropriate responses. The ultimate in this category is
"Pick up the Phone Booth and Aisle." It's a parody of two of the
strangest pieces of code ever to be uploaded to the IF-archive, and its
whole point is to give silly responses. Less extremely, Adam Cadre's
early games have some classic responses. I-0 and Photopia take the cake.
For example, anybody playing I-0 should really type "listen to the radio"
when in the tow truck and the radio is on. In Photopia, if you press
enter without typing a command when you are in the bed time story, the
response goes "don't fall asleep on me yet, kid." Honorable mention goes
to Paul O'Brian's LASH for the response to putting the wire into an outlet
and for its handling of me/you confusion that is likely because of it
being in the first person.
