Nope.  LtoI2 does not contain a hints book.

Fortunately, it is available on the Web.

Take a look at

There are two things of interest:

(1) poke around for the Invisiclues subdirectory in the ftp.gmd.de index

(2) look at the links page, and go to the site that mentions having clues 
    online (Infocom home page)
