I want to write an adventure game engine that can be used for making text
adventure games. My wife is blind and I want to make it where she can
write adventure games that incorporate sound.

I have the source to AGT, and I was thinking about adding sound blaster
support to it. Any ideas on where I can get some information, and
possibly source code, on proramming for the sound blaster.

I there any chance of adding sound to any of the other text adventure
game system (ie TADS, Infocom). I understand that some of the higher
versions of infocom allow sound. Are these also text mode (since my wife
is blind, they must run in text mode, not graphics mode with text being
drawn).
