Are there any known problems with the Infix suite?

I've recently brought a long-time work in progress out of the closet to
work with and suddenly I'm having fatal interpreter crashes when using
any infix verbs with some of my game's objects.

I'm on a Mac, and the crash happens on MaxZip, Zip2000 and Nitfol -
fatal errors, one and all.

My game is getting fairly large... having to run as a z8 with all the
debugging stuff included (around 300k), but comfortably in the z5 range
with all the debugging stuff left out.

Nothing unusual about the specific objects that will cause the infix
verbs to crash (i.e. they aren't all above a certain object number, or
share the same attributes, etc.)

Tracking it down is going to be tough as the crash is a fatal one, only
Nitfol giving any kind of hint... an endless stream of illegal
instruction errors.

Any advice or suggestions on where to start looking?

Chip
