I'm the designer and producer of Zork Nemesis. I haven't had a chance to
read this newsgroup for a while -- I just code-released the game yesterday.

Today I checked out the postings and was pretty shocked to see that H.
Siegel (from our marketing department) had posted a blatant advertisment
for Zork Nemesis to this group (among others). That was really, really
lame and I'm sorry that he did it. I'll do what I can to make sure this
doesn't happen in the future.

I'm not here to flack for the game so I won't say too much about it. As you
probably know by now, it's not a text adventure (sorry to the hard-core
text people in the group). For my $0.02 on the "can-graphics-adventures-
be-interactive-fiction" question; just like we accept fiction books and
fiction films, I think there is a place for graphics-oriented fiction
in the computer games business.

By the way, in response to those people who requested that Activision
make the original Zork text adventures more accessible (a sentiment I
share) I can tell you they are planning to put Zork 1 on the web site as
part of the promotion for Zork Nemesis.
